Happy New Year and Happy Chinese New Year! π January 2025 has brought some exciting updates, and we canβt wait to share them with you. Before we jump in, we hope you had a wonderful celebration. Now, letβs check out the updates!
Enhancements
1. Sync Your WA Personal Chat History in Inbox/Inbox Lite (Beta Stage) π¬
Now, when you connect your WhatsApp Personal device and enable the Inbox, all your past chats and messages will show up in the Inbox/Inbox Lite module. π₯
This makes it easy for you to view and reply to your previous conversations all in one place. If your device is already connected previously, simply unlink Strive from WhatsApp on your phone, then click the QR icon in the Action column (in WA Personal setup module).
Once done, all your past chats will appear in the Inbox/Inbox Lite module for easy access! β¨
2. Connect Your Instagram Page to Inbox/Inbox Lite β¨
You can now connect your Instagram page directly to Strive, allowing you to reply to messages through the Inbox or Inbox Lite module. π
This makes managing Instagram messages alongside other communication channels easier and more seamless.
Before connecting, make sure your Instagram page is linked to a Facebook Page and that “Instagram Messaging Across Apps” is enabled. If you’re unsure how to enable this, check out this guide: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/791161338412168
Hereβs how to connect your Instagram page:
- Head over to Inbox or Inbox Lite module.
- Click the Chat Channel button.
- Select Connect Now for Messenger & Instagram.
- Follow the steps and allow permission for the Facebook Page and Instagram account you want to connect.
- Thatβs itβyouβre all set! π
3. New Flowbuilder Node: “Turn On/Off Bot” π€
Weβve added a new feature to Flowbuilder that allows you to easily turn the bot on or off. π
For example, if you want a contactβs chat to be handled by a user instead of the bot, you can use this new “Turn On/Off Bot” node. Simply select “Turn off bot,” and the bot will stop triggering the flow, allowing the user to continue chatting manually. π¬π¨βπ»
When the bot is turned off, and a new flow includes the “Turn On” node, the user can manually trigger the flow in the Inbox/Inbox Lite module. Once triggered, the bot will become active again.
This gives you more control over your interactions and helps create a smoother experience for both users and contacts.
4. Tagging Report Export Now Includes Contacts π
When you export the tagging report from the Reports module, the file will now show the contacts associated with each tag. π·οΈ
This improvement makes it easier to track which contacts have specific tags, giving you more detailed insights for analysis or follow-ups. π
5. Flowbuilder “Wait For Reply” Node Can Now Handle Multiple Responses π¬
Now, when using the “Wait For Reply” node, the flow will detect and accept multiple responses from the contact before continuing. β
If a contact replies more than once during this step, the flow will correctly handle the responses, ensuring it doesnβt reply more than once to the contact.
This ensures that the flow continues smoothly and correctly, even if the contact interacts more than once during the waiting period. π
6. Auto-Channel Selection for Triggered Flows π
When you set up a flow with the “Trigger Another Flow” action, the channel will be automatically added to the selected flow if it wasnβt already selected yet. π²
For example, if you manually trigger a flow, and the second flow doesnβt have a channel (like WhatsApp or Messenger) selected, it will now automatically include the correct channel.
This saves time and ensures the second flow is triggered successfully without needing to edit the flow.
Note: It will be auto added if the original flow was triggered manually in the Inbox/Inbox Lite module.
7. Faster Loading for Flowbuilder Enrollment History β©
Weβve improved the speed of loading your Flowbuilder enrollment history! π
Now, when you view the enrollment history, it will load faster, saving you time and making your workflow more efficient.
This means you can easily access the information you need without long waiting times, helping you stay productive and organized! π
