Strive September 2025 Updates ๐Ÿš€

Dear Strivers,

The month of September brought with it some meaningful enhancements that we can't wait for you to try out. We also celebrated Hari Malaysia, a reminder of coming together and moving forward. In that same spirit, our updates are focused on bringing you a smoother and more enjoyable experience. Read on to explore the changes.

Enhancements

1. Contact Enhanced Customer Value Details ๐Ÿ“ˆ

We have improved the Customer Value section inside the Contact module to give you a clearer view of each customer's buying behavior.

Here's what you can now see in the Customer Value section: ๐Ÿ‘‡

  • Lifetime Value ๐Ÿ’ฐ

The total amount a customer has spent with you since their very first purchase up to today. This gives you the big picture of how valuable a customer is over time.

  • YTD Value ๐Ÿ“†

The total amount a customer has spent in the current year. This helps you track how active they are this year.

  • Average Order Value ๐Ÿ›’

The average amount a customer spends each time they place an order. This gives you an idea of their usual spending level.

  • Last Purchase Date ๐Ÿ“

The most recent date when the customer made a purchase. It helps you know how recently they engaged with your business.

  • Purchase Frequency ๐Ÿ”„

The total number of orders the customer has ever placed. This shows how often they come back to buy.

  • YTD Purchase Frequency ๐Ÿ“Š

The total number of orders placed by the customer in the current year. It helps you track how engaged they are within this year.

With these new details, you can better understand how much value each customer brings, how often they buy, and when they last made a purchase. This helps you make smarter decisions when managing relationships and planning strategies. โœจ

2. Send Carousel Messages for Messenger and IG ๐ŸŽ

You can now create beautiful carousel messages in your flow for Messenger and Instagram channels. ๐ŸŽ‰

A carousel lets you share multiple images in one message, making it great for showing products, giving choices, or sharing options.

To set it up, select "Carousel/Gallery (Messenger & IG)" in your flow, then click Add New Carousel to upload an image. Repeat the step to add more images.

Each card can also include a text button or a URL button, so your contacts can interact easily.

This makes your messages more interactive and engaging for your contacts. ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ

Note: This feature is only available for Messenger and Instagram channels. It does not work with WA API or WA Personal channels.

3. Quick Reply for Instagram is Here ๐ŸŽ‰

You can now send text with quick reply buttons for your Instagram channel via Flowbuilder. ๐ŸŽ‰

This makes it easy for contacts to respond with just one tap, helping them move smoothly through the flow you've set up.

To set it up, just click on "Messenger/IG Quick Reply" and add your message, quick reply text, and the options. Your contacts will then see the buttons and can continue through the flow exactly as you've designed it.

This way, both you and your contacts save time while keeping the conversation engaging and easy to follow. ๐Ÿ™Œ

4. Inbox Analytics New Message Response Rate ๐Ÿ“Š

We have updated the analytics chart by replacing Unique Contacts Response Time with a clearer metric called Message Response Rate. โœจ

What is Message Response Rate? ๐Ÿค”

It shows how many contacts received a reply compared to the total number of unique contacts who messaged you. In other words, it helps you understand how responsive your team is to people reaching out.

Formula ๐Ÿ“:

Message Response Rate = Number of contacts that got a reply รท Total number of unique contacts

Example ๐Ÿ’ก:

If 10 unique contacts messaged you and your team replied to 5 of them, your Message Response Rate would be 50%.

This makes it easier to see how well conversations are being replied to.

5. Filter Contacts by Their Activity ๐Ÿ”

You can now filter your contacts based on their activity. With this feature, you save time and keep your contact management more organised. ๐Ÿ“‹

How to filter contacts by activity:

  1. Click on the filter icon in the Contact module.
  2. Choose the Activity option.
  3. Click Add Filter.
  4. Select the activity and date range.
  5. Click Apply Filter.

For example, you can filter contacts who made a purchase last month or those who opened an email broadcast within a certain date range. You can also choose more than one activity to make your search even more precise.

Once you have your filtered list, you can easily add tags, place them into new or existing groups, and take other actions to stay on top of your customer engagement. ๐ŸŽฏ

6. Import Contacts with Company Information ๐Ÿข

You can now import contacts along with their company details such as name, industry, and location. The system will check the company name in your CSV file to decide whether to create a new company or update an existing one.

When the company does not exist:

If the company name is not found in the system, a new company will be created using the industry and location provided in your file. The contact you imported will then be linked to this new company automatically.

When the company already exists:

If the company name is found in the system and the industry or location has no changes, the contact will simply be connected to that existing company. This keeps your data consistent and avoids duplicates.

โš ๏ธ Important to note:

If your file has multiple rows with the same company name but different industries or locations, they will be merged into one company. For example, if "Company A" is listed once with Travel and another time with Hospitality, then "Company A" will appear under Hospitality in the Company Module. The same rule applies to company locations as well.

7. Manage Multiple Tickets in One Go ๐ŸŽซ

You can now save time by closing several tickets at once instead of handling them one by one.

If you'd like to learn how to close multiple tickets, you can follow this step-by-step guide: Close Multiple Ticket

To open several tickets at once, the process is almost the same. Just follow the same guide but choose "Open Tickets" instead.

This makes managing tickets much faster and helps you stay more organized. ๐Ÿš€

8. Track Your Flowbuilder with Analytics ๐Ÿ“Š

You can now see how your contacts move through a Flowbuilder with the new Analytics view.

To access it, just click to edit your Flowbuilder and head over to the Analytics tab. The data is shown based on the date when a contact triggered the flow, so you can easily monitor activity over time.

When you click on the dropdown of the date, you'll see each Flowbuilder node along with the contacts who successfully reached that step.

This makes it simple to understand which actions are working well and where contacts might be dropping off, helping you improve your flows with confidence. ๐Ÿš€

9. Quick Reply with Audio in Inbox ๐ŸŽง

You can now make your Quick Replies more personal by adding a voice message ๐ŸŽค.

Here's how you can create a Quick Reply and attach an audio file:

  1. Head over to the Inbox module.
  2. Select any active ticket in the Inbox.
  3. Tap the + icon.
  4. Choose Quick Reply.
  5. Click on Create.
  6. Select Add Image/Video/Doc/Audio, then pick the audio file you want to attach.
  7. Click Save.

This allows you to reply faster while keeping the conversation more natural and engaging. Instead of typing everything out, you can attach an audio message that gets sent instantly with your Quick Reply.

โš ๏ธ Note: When you send a Quick Reply with audio, the text or caption will not be included together with it.

10. Trigger Flowbuilder in Zapier and Pabbly โšก

You can now use Zapier and Pabbly to automatically trigger a Flowbuilder in Strive. ๐Ÿค–

To set it up, choose Strive as the action, then select "Send Flowbuilder". From there, you can pick the fields such as channel and Flowbuilder that you want to trigger.

This makes it easier to connect your workflows and run actions without manual steps, giving you more flexibility in automation. ๐Ÿš€

Note: For the Contact ID, make sure it comes from the Strive action Find Contact or Create Contact. This ensures the Flowbuilder runs smoothly for the right contact.

11. Flowbuilder Delay Timer Can Now Go Up to 365 Days โณ

You can now set a delay for a node in Flowbuilder for as long as 365 days. This extended delay timer also applies to other actions in Flowbuilder.

This gives you more flexibility to plan follow-ups or reminders that need to happen weeks or even months later. ๐Ÿ“…

Note: For WA API, Instagram, and Messenger channels, there is still a conversation window limit. This means that if the delay goes beyond the conversation window, the action will not be executed.

12. Flowbuilder Made Smoother โšก

  • Flowbuilder Type: No Trigger

When you choose No Trigger for the flowbuilder type, you no longer need to select a channel.

This makes the setup more straightforward and saves time, especially when you just want to create a flow without linking it to a specific channel.

  • Condition V2 is Now Condition (Group)

We've renamed Condition V2 to Condition (Group) to make it clearer and easier to understand.

This helps to indicate that it is used for group conditions inside your flow.

13. Clear Indicator for Disconnected Devices in Strive Go ๐Ÿšซ

Now Strive Go makes it easy to know if a device is disconnected.

When you clicked on an inbox ticket for a disconnected channel, you will see a bright red banner at the top of the screen.

With this improvement, you can stay on top of your communication more smoothly. โœ…

14. WA Personal Device Scan Now Auto-Adds to Group ๐Ÿ“ฒ

When you scan your WA Personal device while being part of a group, the device will now be automatically added to that group.

This means you no longer need to worry about assigning the channel manually.

With this, super admin can save time and effort since the channel is instantly assigned to the right group, making the setup process faster, smoother, and much easier for everyone. ๐Ÿš€

15. Control Your Audio Playback Speed ๐ŸŽต

You can now listen to audio messages at the speed that suits you best. By adjusting the playback speed, you can slow things down to catch every detail or speed them up to save time.

โœจ How it works:

By default, audio plays at normal speed. To change it, just click on the three dots on the audio message and select Playback Speed.

From there, you can choose from different options:

0.25x (very slow)

0.5x (slow)

0.75x (slightly slower)

1.25x (slightly faster)

1.5x (fast)

1.75x (very fast)

2x (double speed)

This gives you more control and makes listening a lot more flexible. ๐ŸŽง

16. Strive Go Voice Messages Now Display in Waveform ๐ŸŽถ

Voice messages in Strive Go Inbox will now appear in a waveform display instead of just a plain bar.

Both incoming and outgoing audio messages show up with visual sound waves, making them easier to follow and recognize at a glance. ๐Ÿ‘€

This makes listening more interactive and gives you a better experience when managing voice messages in your Strive Go inbox. ๐ŸŽง

17. Contact Module Now Loads Faster โšก

The Contact Module now loads at a much quicker speed, giving you a smoother experience when viewing your contacts.

This makes it easier to check, search, and manage your contacts. ๐Ÿš€
