While most people are constantly seeking for the ‘Closing Tactics’ to increase their sales, what if I told you that the secret to sales growth lies in your daily habits?
In this post, I’m going to share with you the 7 Habits of Highly Successful Business & Sales Leaders:
1) SAY THANK YOU
– It doesn’t matter if the prospect agree to work with you, thank them regardless for the opportunity for you to present your ideas and possibilities of collaboration.
2) GENERATE NEW LEADS DAILY
– For every deals that you close, you’re one step closer to unemployment. Just because you have more clients today, that doesn’t mean that you’ll have more tomorrow. Dedicate and create a system for lead generation to find new prospects.
3) PRACTICE SELLING
– As any skills, if you do not practice, you’ll not improve. Selling is like a sport. You need to allocate time for practice to create progress. Set aside time every week fro sales training. May it be role-playing, sales calls, etc…
4) FOLLOW UP
– Do you know that 80% of the buyers purchase after the 6th point of contact with you? You need a strategy and system for continuous follow-up to turn your prospects into clients.
5) FACILIATE INSTEAD OF PITCHING
– Ironically, the day I stopped selling is the day I started closing. When you focus your time to show people how your solution will impact their life, and why they need it, you’ll start to close more.
6) ASKING FOR REFERRALS
– Your clients are your best referrals. An easy way for you to make more sales is to use this script, “Hey Mr.Client, we have been working together for X amount of time, and we have achieved X results. I am curious if you know anyone who I can help achieve similar results?”
7) UPGRADING YOUR SKILLS
– If you want to grow your sales, you need to acquire better skill sets and mindset. Start reading more about copywriting, marketing, psychology of persuasion, and communication.
At the end of the day, your habits create your results. It’s what you do every single day when no one is pushing you that will move you closer to your goals.
Have a great time scaling and selling!
